What is the "American Dream"?

Objective: Research and construct a seven-page paper focusing on the concept of the American Dream, as well as the stories of individuals who have found this dream to be either salvation or damnation.

Structure: You may design your paper in a number of ways; however, the finished product must include (1) a section identifying the concept of the American Dream, (2) a section identifying an individual who had achieved this dream and has found "salvation," and (3) a section identifying an individual who has achieved the dream and been destroyed by it, or has been destroyed in the pursuit.
