Project: Using the internet and books you will research a given festival. You will then present your findings to the class. You are to research the following information about the festival:
  1. the history
  2. when it occurs
  3. where it occurs
  4. how long it takes place
  5. how it is celebrated
  6. why is it celebrated

Presentation: You are to present your findings to the class using either POWERPOINT or a POSTER--regular or Glogster. Everything on the poster or powerpoint must be in complete sentences in SPANISH describing what you are presenting. The presentation should be about 3-5minutes long and should include pictures and videos (if possible). You can get extra credit if you bring in any typical foods associated with your festival (or country if there isn’t a specific food).

Paper- You are also to write a paper about your festival in ENGLISH. Your essay will be graded both on grammar and content. Your essay should be between 1 ½ to 2 pages in length. YOU MUST INCLUDE A BIBLIOGRAPHY!*

You may work on this at home. Powerpoints must be emailed to me before Monday the 9th or you must bring a disc/flashdrive to school and be ready to present on the 9th,. All posters and papers must be brought this day too.
